What’s been happening:

Summing up the past 37 years in a short note is a challenge, but in brief my wife Bernadette (Edinboro Univ. 1973) and I both retired in 2006, each with 33 yrs. of service. She taught elementary vocal music for Butler Area School District, and I was an office manager for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation (ATI). We remain very active with a local health & fitness club, and Bernie conducts weekly meetings at a number of locations for Weight Watchers. I work part-time for Autobody Products Inc., which is a link to restoration and my involvement in several antique car clubs. Among others in my collection is the '54 Studebaker (now restored) that took me through all my years at Penn State. Airplanes have always been another passion of mine (I learned to fly at Bellefonte Sky Park while at PSU), and still manage some rental time on occasion in a Piper Warrior at Butler County Airport. Attending conventions with the old car hobby has taken us to cities all over the country, but vacations to Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia probably hold the most significance. Bernie and I became so captivated with Georgian 18th century architecture that we built a reproduction house in 1993. Our daughters Stephanie & Sarah left the "nest" for college after high school. Stephanie is an '05 Penn State alumni and Sarah is an '07 Ohio State University grad majoring in aviation. She is a commercial pilot.
